By default, Comic Life restricts the comic page to normal US Letter size. I find that to be a perfectly acceptable creative limitation. But since we've reached the 10th comic of the series, why not remove the restrictions and stretch a little? I could do something like this every 10 comics.

More importantly, I've gotten the hang of the comic-making process. I ought to, since this comic has been running for a month now. That's why I feel like I can change the update schedule to be more frequent.

So from now on, Friendship is Dragons updates three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

"three times a week"

Best news I've heard all day.
I can't wait to see Pinkie "roleplay" her "introduction". ;)

"Somepony." My gosh! A pun that isn't a noun! This DM is a genius.

No, seriously. The players are gonna say "someone" all the time and it will start some funny. Everything's suddenly a gold mine for jokes! :D *Squee*

Three comics a week? Nice.

Updates! Hoorah!

Three times a week? Excellent!

Also, good for Twilight remembering to interact with the NPCs after only one reminder. I've had PCs walk up to the heads of their religious orders, their commanding officers, even their king, and start interrogating them without preamble. And once they got what information they wanted (or decided that the NPC in question was 'boring') they turned around and left without so much as a 'thank you.'

And of course, then they wonder why they aren't more popular...

If you're going to update three times a week, why not make it Monday Wednesday Friday? *shrug*

Because, as is often the case, regular real life complications make a M/W/F schedule inconvenient. Tu/Thu already worked for me, and so I pick Saturday now that I have room to expand.

It's always kind of bothered me how the two horses who bring her to Ponyville don't actually speak, so glad to see that rectified here.

That should be "two ponies," whoops. Or maybe they actually are horses and that's why they only whinny.

Well, ponies ARE horses, so technically you were right the first time.

Curse you, now I have to add yet another webcomic to my list to watch. :P

By the way, what system do they use, if any?

Nice use of the word "egregious", Newbiespud.

T/T/S works for me. As it is, most of the webcomics I read have the standard M/W/F schedule. You'll be joining the fine company of Darths & Droids and Menage a 3.

Anypony else notice how much these guys look like Big Macintosh?
Bronymous 26th Sep 2011, 5:29 PM edit delete reply
Probably owing to the fact that its a girls show, so most of the character designing went to the female characters. There are only like 4 different male characters, the rest look the same.

Careful with that three days a week thing. Ive read enough webcomics to know that that isnt going to happen every single time, like clockwork, and yet every time you miss one (and you will, for whatever reason), readers are going to go berserk. Just fair warning.

If Irregular Webcomic! can manage never missing a single daily update for six or seven years, I have no excuses.
