Sometimes, I can't come up with a twist on Pinkie Pie's interpretation for a given scene because canon Pinkie Pie's behavior is already perfect for that scene no matter what the context is. Not sure if that makes my writing job easier or more difficult.
I'd think "easier". You can just use the material that's already right there.
Alternately: canon Pinkie Pie breaks fourth walls so much (and sometimes plays at mystic seeing the future) that she foresaw your need, and provided years in advance. As in, Pinkie Pie co-wrote this part of your comic. (Which means she knew all along that you'd get this far.)
So Fluttershy's dialogue in the 2nd panel and Applejack's dialogue in the 4th seem to bring to mind the episode "Bats!". I feel like this won't be the last we'll see of this "Animals vs. People" argument between Fluttershy and Applejack in the context of the campaign, here.
Flutter-Bat aside, I wasn't much of a fan of the episode.

Magical animals eating Chaos-God byproduct chocolate? Who the heck knows?
But probably not as this doesn't seem to be that kind of campaign.
