Guest Author's Note: "It's regrettably easy to get stuck in your head when you're playing an RPG, as a GM or as a player. One of the reasons I try to run one shots while I'm running a longer form campaign is so that I keep myself shaken, and prevent myself from getting too settled. The more wild and stupid the one shot, the better.

It's even better when the players embrace their role as the agent of chaos. Not in the alignment sense of the term, but in the meta sense. Because even the most Lawful Good Player Character in existence can be an agent of chaos. So long as they are affecting the world, and letting the world affect them, that push and pull forces the GM and the Players to try something new.

Story Time: Any stories about an event so wild it threw everyone for a loop?"

Newbiespud's Note: Speaking of being thrown for a loop or two, here's this week's Spudventure!

Wait, is the DM using "them" in the plural or in the gender-neutral sense? Is Sunset's player nonbinary?
GD 18th Feb 2020, 8:29 AM edit delete reply
Gender neutral. They are in fact non-binary.

Huh. I thought for certain that was a reference to the GM and players collectively.

I'm in the same boat.

I had assumed a plural myself and was thus confused why it would take a group so long to get together (I mean irl it can, I suppose).

I like singular 'they', but when you can't use the person's name, as in here, it can get confusing. Needs a colloquial singular, kinda an inverse of 'ya'll'.

Adults are so clueless. No one noticed the progression in those photos. XD

Hmm, I can't think of any good moments of me being the agent of chaos. Too often I have to play the reasonable one the stops the party from jumping the rails while over a bridge.

It's framed! In Celestia's office! How did she miss that for minimum 6 months?

It's Celestia. Though this one is a Principle, I imagine that she's got the same sort of personality as the one who enjoys it when the Grand Galloping Gala gets crashed by Discord and the Smooze. She's just better at hiding it because she's not in a position of supreme authority, and has higher-ups to answer to.

Are we going to get a summary of the story about why Principal Celestia banished her sister/Vice Principal to the kindergarten?

I had missed the picture progression on every viewing of Equestria Girls until someone pointed it out. Sunset seems modest and astonished in the first one.
