Twilight Sparkle: Alright. Does everyone understand the plan?
Applejack: sure. I get that most of it revolves 'round hidin'.
Rarity: Come now, I can't be the only pony trained in Stealth...
Pinkie Pie: Ready to be the distraction, Dashie?
Rainbow Dash: NO.
Fluttershy: Well, um...
Newbiespud: ...Yeah, I think I'll stick to screencaps.
My very last guest author unfortunately had to cancel toward the end, leaving me without one final guest comic for my promised run. But instead of leaving you guys with just an apology this morning, I decided to try my best to entertain you. Myself. At the last minute. With the art supplies I had lying around.
One way or another, this brings our guest comic break to a close. Big thanks to all the guest authors for taking the time to contribute with such awesome work! The regular comics will be returning this Tuesday.
Note: Guest comic submissions are now open! Guidelines here. Current deadline: 4/1/21.
Intermission's over, everypony! You got three days to get back to your seats. In all seriousness, always good to see something different, even if you have to pull it out the hammer-space to get it done. Can't wait to see what the new comic brings.
Now that you mention it, I haven't seen Raxon around in over a week. Is he just stocking up in preparation for the new story arc? If so, should we be alarmed?
Well, you did a better job than I would have done. Pencil-necked, chubby Twilight stood out a bit, but everything else is pretty good for a last minute job.
However, your drawing of Bearded Man at the end was spectacular. Color, shading, proportions, everything is so lifelike.
The model, though...well, he looks like a guy who makes a comic with brightly colored ponies, who's trying to come out of the shadow of his father who makes a comic with brightly colored ducks.
Yeah, it's a bit of an Irregular Webcomic homage, albeit in structure only. I thought it'd be cool to do early on, and it meant I only had to draw three small panels. Two birds with one stone, I say!
That's one heck of a beard, son. Your granddad (maternal) would've been proud of you. :)
All things considered, with more practice I think you could "do" the "art" thing. But I understand the joke structure well enough to know why you did it this way. Heh.
Sorry if this is unrelated to the comic, but the pony tales forum for some reason refuses to load (server cannot be reached, despite rest of internet working flawlessly). Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Also, Lynt, I sent you a PM over comicfury. Can't update campaign till this issue is fixed.
I would like to join in the "better than mine" commentary by saying that a completely lack of an entry was the sum of my artistic ability. On my best day.
By Celestia's beard! I think it's actually pretty impressive. The only negative things are pretty mild and easily fixed, you're a pretty decent sketcher of ponies.
I know this is a bit off topic, but I figured you all, as a combination of Bronies and various tabletop RPGers would like to know about a new line of customizable figures.
There are two base bodies: Pony and Unicorn
There are going to be three different accessory packs:
-Pack 1 (Base pack): Pegasus wings and flaming hooves (currently available as a choice)
-Pack 2 (Nightmare pack): flaming wings and flaming tail (Work in Progress)
-Pack 3 (Chthulu pack): Tentacle mouth, tentacle tail, and bat wings (Work in Progress)
I am already backing this and hope that you all will help back this project to get as many of this cute little ponies out there in the world. Let us build an army of ponies!
Oh yeah, saw hat on eqd. With they did not look so mad all the time. A casual expression for the base set would be better. Not "grrr are you selling any food grrrrdiediedie"
Alright, can't wait to see our favorite questionably-sane* adventurers lay the smack down of friendship on a crazy voodoo sorceress!
*It's worth noting that while their sanity is in fact quite sound for the most part, it's just not a D&D game without being forced to question the party's collective sanity, at least OFF the table anyway.
