This is definitely a case of wanting to try something new with art and panels and writing the script around it, but that's comics for ya.

Happy Thanksgiving from the US! As my offering, here's this month's SpudShot session. We had a lot of fun playing it.

Third Base? What does that mean?

I've got it! She thinks Dashie and Gilda...wanna play softball! Hehehe. Seriously though, I think that is just Pinkie Pie for 'I don't have everything figured out, just those three things which make 'three bases'". She needs them to bring her in for home plate! So who is gonna step up to bat first? The overly concerned yet slightly Aggro griffon who missed her friend? Or the overzealous rainbow barbarian who was careless with her words?

"So who is gonna step up to bat first?"
Yes.
"What's the name of the starting batter?"
What's the name of the of the player batting second.
"I'm not asking who's batting second!"
Who's batting first!
"I don't know."
(Together) "CLEAN-UP!"

It's a reference to an old two-man comedy routine called "Who's on First?" a repeating line is an exchange of "I don't know" replied to with "third base!"

So in other words by "Third base" she means "I don't know". Got it.

You need to watch "Who's on First?" It is a cultural necessity. Just look it up on Youtube, you'll find plenty of recordings.

And then you realize the title is Habit and Odd Fellow.

Oh yes, that is one of the great classics of comedy!
