I feel your pain, my friend. I have a hard enough time with normal dialogue. Especially if my character has a low intelligence.

Low intelligence? Isn't it harder to write for a character with high intelligence, since you have to use a wider vocabulary range?

If the PLAYER has a high intelligence and an impressive vocabulary, it can sometimes be difficult to remember to avoid high-level words the low-INT character shouldn't know. Speaking from experience.

I think it's rather simple
To write a rhyming speech!
It's not as hard as courting
A Siren on the beach!

The thing you must remember
Is the meter in which you've writ.
If you can't write in haiku,
A limerick you might commit!

But even if the limerick flops
It's easy to come back
And write a little ABCB poem
To spell out your attack!

It is not the poem that's hard.
I mean, you have written a bard.
A small limerick,
For you should be quick.
Or will you play the heartsong card?

Heck, the song's subject need not rhyme.
Just find some words ending in kind.
Count each syllable,
'Til each line is full.
And chopping one like that is fine!

A haiku poem?
Is that from Samurai Jack?
Oh wait never mind.

Or you could just say
"Screw it" and resort to memes.
It's snowing on Mount Fuji.
