Depending on how you interpret spontaneous musical numbers, you could argue that Pinkie has domination powers in canon...
I don't know if I'm disappointed or relieved that the screenshot of Pinkie with swirling green eyes wasn't used for the domination.
In 3.5, I have Jimothy the Bluffomancer: a 1st level sorcerer with charm person, +3 in Profession(lawyer),+6 in Diplomacy, and +16 in Bluff.

Only sometimes. Pinkie has utterly failed with some songs, but had the entire town since for others.
Heck, Twilight picks up that knack by the end of season 3.

I don't ship most ponies. It's much more likely that Friendship is SO strong in Equestria that lifelong "Straw Hat Nakama/One Piece" level friendships are the norm, and that most relationships are platonic.
Except three ships: 1: Flash Sentry Pony and Twilight, because the fanart makes them ADORABLE together.
2: Flash Magnus and Rainbow Dash. They just get along so well when on screen together, and they have different interests/life paths, but similar strengths.
3: Trouble Shoes/Derpy Hooves. Because it's also an adorable and charming ship.

Tails of Equestria even has a sidebar about it in which they basically say "just try not to think about it too hard."
Except earth ponies hardly ever do it in comparison to unicorns. Objects that require hands to use are clearly an example of subtle and entrenched unicorn privilege.
I think the other explanation is that pony hooves are literally magical "magnets" that function similarly to fingers and hands, though not as dexterous.
You see why I wanted to use the full sequence, even though it was much much bigger than I ever expected? So I could show off, among so many other things, a mesmerized pegasus-rogue Isabela donning a top hat and tap-dancing on a decorative railing?
