I don't have much to say other than I love that quick shot of Twilight shoving Applejack's hat down onto her face.

Twi has also shoved AJ around with that ponykinesis. She's very fluent in exerting magic muscles. :3

I probably wouldn't go with Twilight's plan here, on account that I know myself well enough that I'd just end my monologue on a really bad pun.

This can't end well.

It'll definitely be a learning experience. Hopefully Twilight has a better argument than "She's EVIL!" After all, that one only works for paladins.
CCC 10th Sep 2020, 7:19 AM edit delete reply
"Evil! EEEEVIL!!"

...though most paladins I've seen would be more inclined to start with the smiting.

If a Paladin says something is evil, that thing is evil. End of discussion.
RuBoo 10th Sep 2020, 7:53 AM edit delete reply
Certainly possible. However, there are things that a Paladin simply cannot do. Such as torture an enemy for information. For such things, that's when you call in the Token Evil Teammate. Oh, Rainbow Dash!
BackSet 10th Sep 2020, 10:13 AM edit delete reply
There are certain forms of torture that even a Paladin can do. For example, if one knows the phone number of the villain's mother.
Kereea 10th Sep 2020, 12:48 PM edit delete reply
I mean that's easily the best torture and why everyone needs Sending.

I have a stepmother. Does your plan still work?
Truthkeeper 10th Sep 2020, 2:25 PM edit delete reply
The hell you say! My code of conduct doesn't have anything to say on the subject of torture! It's also fuzzy on the subject of kneecaps.

Oh, that's an interesting twist! I was intrigued about how you'd face the issue of the rest of the group disagreeing with Twi in the show, considering they were all of the same mind in your version.

I considered the possibility of mind control on the characters or some other underhanded tactic like that, but it was well against the spirit that Candance, SH and the DM seem to be trying to mantain.

I assumed that everyone would be on board with the 'Cadance is Evil' plotline but that Twilight would end up taking it Too Seriously and exploding for real on her brother and his fiancee.
CrowMagnon 10th Sep 2020, 5:03 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, I could be wrong but it seems like she's going with the ploy of pretending to be the only one onto "Cadance" so that when they're alone, the villain plays her hand.

I do like the sound of this. It may be that Twilight will encourage her party (OOC) to abandon her. I do hope it's that and not a bad charisma roll. One thing I've learned is that you shouldn't let PCs roll off against each other, thus taking control out of the player's hands. "Going with the flow," in this case, sounds like trusting her friends to read the situation and make their own decisions.
MythicFox 10th Sep 2020, 2:22 PM edit delete reply
Evil! Pure and simple, from the 8th Dimension!

Oh, and I LOVE the GM's deliberately melodramatic response in the first panel. Nice touch.

Something tells me Twi's player is going to take this moment to air out her real life problems with her brother and fiance.
