Rainbow Dash: Now, obviously, WE know and remember what's going on... especially me. But... maybe someone could spell it out for the rest of the wedding guests?
Princess Cadance: She's a changeling! She takes the form of somepony you love and feeds off your love for them!
DM: With the cat out of the bag and making irrefutable arguments, the impostor decides enough is enough. Her form is engulfed in a column of fiery green magic. Pink and purple feathers explode off her wings to reveal insect-like membranes. Her pink coat melts away to reveal–
Applejack: Woah, spare us the gross details, please.
DM: Oh, fine. Suffice to say, the fake Mi Amore Cadenza reveals her true terrifying form.
Scrapped lines:
Rarity: Detecting shades of Maleficent here.
DM: ...Let's call that serendipity.
This week on Spudventures we played a one-shot from the Starter Set of Tails of Equestria, the official MLP RPG! (Well, it was more like playing a choose-your-own-adventure book, but we still made a lot of fun out of it!)

AJ didn't want to listen to descriptions of wings and flesh melting off, yes. She also might've been trying to preemptively protect Fluttershy and Twilight.
Chrysalis is the natural opponent of Cadance isn't she? A love sucker skilled in deceiving people out of their love for her own ends against a pony with the power to spread all kinds of love and in a relationship meant to exemplify true romantic love. Oddly, Chrysalis wanted revenge against many people, in her future comic and show appearances, but never really Cadance and Shining Armor aside from when she kidnapped all the main characters.
Throw in Sombra as the depression and fear villain, and the task of her leading a new out of time Kingdom she's never seen before, and I feel like Cadance and the Crystal Empire almost had the initial pieces to set up their own show.
Well, there's another bit of animation I didn't notice until Spud captured it - Chrysalis with feathers bursting away from her, for all the world as though it really was a physical disguise rather than a glamour. The feathers don't morph, they come off.
She enabled physics on the individual feathers for a more realistic flap. When she dismissed her full-body disguise, the feathers were the last to go, and they obeyed physics for the last time.
