No campaign is perfect and no group is perfect, but every so often it's good to take a step back and recalibrate, especially when just a few sessions can take months to complete.

Speaking of long-running campaigns, another episode of Shadowtrot is available! It looks like it's heading for a grand finale, too!

Been reading this comic for a while now but never commented- but now I will! Perfect opportunity since the arcs just ending. Thanks for putting out chapters so consistently all this time! This comic really means a lot to me as it got me into d&d, I guess I really wanted a campaign that felt like this one. Just a very nice atmosphere with a great group of people. I haven't found that yet but I've been having a great time making characters and playing as much as I can, though it doesn't always work out for tons of reasons lol.

Just wanted to say thank you! And I hope you're having a great day wherever you are, and if you're not, I hope you will!

I'm really glad for the robust online presence of role playing resources because trying to have an in-person session is really hard, and that's before we had the pandemic. Now we are able to game together regardless of distances...

... okay, we do have time zones to deal with, but still! XD

My most active group already was split by continents, so we haven't had much difference...
And my in-town group usually gets distracted and plays video games, so online games have been sort of more frequent but our meetings less-so? ...But we do have one Lancer game on hold because one friend refuses to do virtual things. Like even gets upset for just checking in on him... Hoping we all can get vaccinated and do in-person meetings mainly for him...

On the side of tools, I like roll20, Tabletop Simulator (mainly for 3d maps...which I think my cross-continent group should do given how much of it has needed flight heights...), Myth-weavers, Discord...lots of tools.

The plethora of choices in online tools is great! There's something for any budget and all it takes is a little effort to set things up.

My local group from last year really didn't have an excuse, but the GM just refused to learn anything online so we haven't met in a year.
