Authors: Winged Cat & Swest

Guest Authors' Note: "And so ends this tale. Will Pinkie DM again? Will Glue make another major appearance? Was a spy mission a good foil for Rainbow Dash? Did we toss in this nod in the expectation that some readers would have noticed the name discrepancy, or were we setting up the joke that he's as effective at most things as dishwater slog is at being glue?

Yes, probably not, no (or not this one), and what do you think?"

Notice: Guest comic submissions are open! Guidelines here. Deadline: February 20th.

Well as a horse he could be *turned* into glue if the barbarian decided to rage now. XD

Given who he's the foil for, that did cross our minds. My mind, at least; I'll let Swest comment if she thought of it too, though she's the one who came up with the name.

The line "We are going to make glue out of him if he don't..." came across my mind, yes, but it just naturally didn't happen to fit, and I don't think many ponies would be familiar with that process... who would turn themselves into glue?

But yes, there are many good phrases I thought of... maybe next time ;)

There is an unanswered question left...

Was there an actual stolen painting, or was even that just part of "Glue"'s set-up?
Winged Cat 30th Nov 2021, 2:21 PM edit delete reply
Winged Cat
Actual stolen painting. Rainbow's just that famous in this setting.

Yeah, he did seem to "stick" to the PCs when they didn't him to, so i though it was because of his name^^

I've only watched a couple episodes of Pony Life, but methinks they make more sense as Pinkie DMing sessions.

There has been a fan theory that the entire Pony Life series is a result of that moment toward the end of the main series where Pinkie Pie wielded Discord's power.

What episode was THAT?!

Season 9 episode 25.

So she named him Glue because things DON'T stick to him? You know what? I'm just gonna stop trying to understand PinkieDM's thought process.

Makes sense. It's the same thing as looking at a guy 6 foot 8 weighing 310 pounds of solid muscle and calling him Tiny.

I'm a big fan of Little John from Robin Hood personally, but yes, Pinkie does not always come up with the best way of explaining what kinds of multidimensional things are going on in her head...

Not that I would know anything about that... ;)
