DM: Are we ready to start?
Twilight Sparkle: Ready to go!
Applejack: Eeyup!
Fluttershy: I hope I don’t mess this up.
Rarity: Nothing to fret about, you’ll be fabulous.
Pinkie Pie: Absoposilutely!
Rainbow Dash: As I’ll ever be…
DM: Awesome! Then let me set the mood. The six of you have found yourselves falling through a tear in the universe.
Fluttershy: EEP!
DM: After what feels like forever, you land in a strange and barren world. All around you are deep, dark chasms…and mountains, orbited by floating islands of rock! And not only is the world around you different, but your bodies-
Rainbow Dash: Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up. You better not have turned us into something lame.
Spike: Just some humans?
Rainbow Dash: Hu-whats?
Spike: Did you read your character sheet?
Rainbow Dash: …was I supposed to bring that?
Guest Author’s Note: "Hello everyone! It’s me, GreatDinn, back once again! Rather than tackle another full length film, I wanted to try my hand at something a bit different, and tackle a full length episode of a classic TV series. That of course being 1983’s Ogres & Oubliettes Dungeons & Dragons! This will be a shorter run of guest comics from me, so for those who aren’t interested, do not worry, it shan't be too long.
Oh, and as you might also have guessed, this is taking place in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universe. I’m still technically meeting the requirements of D&D and Ponies, just maybe a bit differently than usual. ;p"
Notice: Guest comic submissions are open! Guidelines here. Deadline: February 20th.
And since those were the UA classes, the cavalier's only gig was attacking solo constantly, particularly anything resembling the BBEG. Along with a barbarian, who would destroy all the magic stuff for XP at first chance and kill that blinking unicorn for double XP as it counts as a magical animal.
I...have issues with that show as an exemplar of D&D.
Since I don't really address it, to clarify: Since the first appearance of Ogres and Oubliettes (in the television show proper) was in season 6, and the trip to EquestriaGirls!Equestria took place in between seasons 3 and 4, yes, Spike and Twilight know about humans.
The others aren't surprised by being humans because unlike Rainbow Dash, they actually read their character sheets.
I have indeed. It looks soo cool I wanna them to make a whole show now. I don't care if it's in Brazilian and you need subs or dubs I'd watch it!
Also have you seen the fan made version of the final episode Requiem?

Aww yeah, 80s D&D cartoon. A while back I wrote a review for it. Love this cartoon. I like that fans (and some of the official people) managed to finish the final episode of the show. And this actually does make sense because there actually is a real D&D module based on this show. So if you do want to team up with the kids & fight Venger for real...you could do that. And because it's also apart of Forgotten Realms, you could do a cross over with the Arcade games/Chronicles of Mystara.
You know, it occurs to me that Hasbro really dropped the ball on being able to have a great background gag. I mean, they DID have an episode with carnival rides. Could have very easily worked ponified versions of the characters hopping onto an Ogres and Oubliettes ride. Still, having Lyra and Bon-Bon proposing to one another was pretty awesome for that.
