Guest Author's Note: "I was unable to fit the subsequent lecture from Twilight about how the joke was fine, but only somewhat true as while algae such as Acetabularia are single celled (and so large as to make it an excellent model in the study of cell biology), the term algae covers a wide variety of organisms, many of which are multicellular and extremely complex, such as Macrocystis which is enormous and almost as complex as actual plant-life.

You'll just have to imagine it."

Maybe what they have in common is that people often confuse Tiamat for an underwater plant.

If the majority of Algae have named themselves Eustace, I too am unsubscribing.

Winged Cat
But only almost as complex. Algae's simplicity has established it as an eminently farmable resource, used for food, energy (mainly biofuels), fertilizer, pollution control, and other uses. This is often done as a form of aquaculture - so, they can use ocean area as farmland. Obviously this has environmental restrictions, but...

What do you mean, "!unsubscribe" doesn't mean "not unsubscribe"?

So... anyone else gonna ask where they get the Tiamat -sized hole in the floor for this trap? Because I have questions here. XD
Digo 3rd Feb 2022, 10:04 AM edit delete reply
Specifically, "why does this joke exist?" and "Why was it big enough for a dragon to fit?"
Roguim 3rd Feb 2022, 2:52 PM edit delete reply
Also how She falls when could fly and why she didn't simple use her fire breath to destroy the Trap door...

Isn't that "hole" the Oubliette established on the previous page? Like, it being dragon sized is still incredibly convenient, but it's not like it just popped up on this page out of nowhere.
Digo 8th Feb 2022, 6:33 AM edit delete reply
It was established, but isn't it odd that it exists? Like, specifically in this size?
Emtu 3rd Feb 2022, 10:17 AM edit delete reply
I don't think they heard the second part of the joke.
Philadelphus 3rd Feb 2022, 10:58 AM edit delete reply
Because they both have inky quills!

Wait, no, hold on…

And sometimes an alga spots a cute fungus, and takes a lichen to it...

Okay thank you for the algae fact, Pinkie.

Worth noting that a pit dungeon large enough to hold a giant chromatic dragon is no longer an oubliette, but rather an oobly.
