Phew! Finally got through this Discord and Tirek interlude.

...And now I can't wait for them to interact again. Dang it.

Art is a explosion!

Ah, Deidara. Such an idiot… So obsessed with his “art” that he became it. And that was the end of it…

Then, you think art should be eternal like a certain puppeteer?

That was torturous but it's finally done.

Can't wait to do it again.

And now for the good-guys-win-by-default-because-they-are-the-good-guys part of the story.

Or maybe not.

I mean, they are explicitly trying to make the campaign more Saturday morning cartoon.

I don't think DnD dice usually conform to the rules of Saturday morning.

Well, a successful D&D campaign is one that produces a satisfying ending. Not necessarily a happy one, but one that suits the story, setting & characters. It would be hard, though not impossible, to produce a bad-guys-win ending that would make a satisfying conclusion to this arc.

Also, I wouldn't say they win 'because good guys always win' in this scenario. The "good guys" have worked hard to craft a strategy to outmaneuver Discord!DM, and we have yet to see what it is or if it will succeed. WE know that they'll come out on top somehow, because we know the show's plotline & the tone of the comic, but the how & why is totally unknown, thanks to Spud's brilliant storytelling.
