Fluttershy: Actually, it's possible the property values might–
Discord: Yes, yes, lovely new castle, whatever. What's to stop me from turning it into... I don't know, a basketball court with a snap of my fingers? HM?
Fluttershy: I might have a theory about that, actually. If you'd be willing to hear me out.
Discord: Very well. Say your spiel.
Fluttershy: Discord seems to really dislike it when unexpected things happen to HIM. Or, in other words, when random chaos interferes with his grand designs, right? In order to be a chessmaster, y ou have to know all the standard rules and behavior, right? In order to predict things, you have to recognize patters and impose order on an infinitely complex world. So maybe Discord isn't as opposed to order and harmony as he thinks. As for us, well... that rainbow power kind of came out of nowhere, right? Almost... hmhm, "randomly." Sure, there was a rhyme and reason for it, but it was clearly not what anyone expected. Not to mention, in order to get that power, we had to intentionally plunge ourselves into chaos to test ourselves. We didn't even know what exactly we would find, but we knew that, by sticking to our friendship, we'd find it together. So Discord has some orderliness, and us ponies can be pretty chaotic. Maybe we can find a way to peacefully coexist after all.
Discord: ... Where did you FIND this one?
DM: Would you believe totally by random chance?
Sorry to hear about your eye. Hope it feels better soon. Do yourself a favor when it's okay to do so: for an eye exercise to help reduce eye strain, force yourself to blink 20 times (count to 10 twice if it helps) this will re hydrate your eyes which reduces eyestrain which also will prevent aura migraines. Doctor recommend, huge game changer especially in an age where if you're not on a screen for work you're on it for fun. You might notice but we sometimes unintentionally train ourselves not to blink trying to win a staring contest with a screen all day.
yeap, if there was one to understands and makes a good analyses for a peaceful ending with Discord, should be Fluttershy.
and hope your eyes get better soon.
My old group sometimes let the villain live, but not as easily as this. They'd do something like break Discord's thumbs so he couldn't snap his fingers anymore, THEN let him go free.
