As long as you're switching systems, characters, and campaigns fairly regularly, keeping out-of-character knowledge under control is rather easy. It's when you've been around the same game, the same people, and the same settings for too long that you start entering dangerous "this should not be IC knowledge" territory.

I mistakenly announced Thursday that my condition was going down. Instead, that very same morning, it rose up for what seems to be Round 3 plus overtime. This unpleasantness seems determined to continue through the weekend.

I'm doing my best to spend an hour here or there (when the meds are working properly) getting the latest Fallout is Dragons edited. I hope to get that out before the weekend's done, even if we don't have a session tomorrow.

I'm rooting for ya Spud! You'll beat it!

In the meantime, please enjoy this movie I found recently. I'm sure you'll love it.

You need to stop licking toads/eating pizza you find underneath the fridge/kissing boys or girls/shaking hands with goats or whatever it is you're doing and get well soon, dammit.

I'ma let you finish, but Kung-fu Rabbit was the best Kung-fu Panda ripoff of all time.

I hope you're seeking medical attention, Newbiespud. I know it can be... inconvenient, if I may so drastically understate it, but when something like this persists, it's best dealt with as firmly as possible. My lungs suffered more than they should have way back when.

Long ago, on a moon far away, lived a filly. She was a true princess, sorceress, and witcheress.

It would appear that "Elusive" wants to make sure that the princess of the night remains feared by everypony or more likely "Elusive" is just playing a prank on her little sister... O_O oops... ummm I mean... ahhhh... oh look Ponies ^_^
Crazy Tom 10th Jan 2015, 8:55 AM edit delete reply
That is frighteningly possible now that I think about it.
Tatsurou 10th Jan 2015, 10:52 AM edit delete reply

Actually, assuming Elusive isn't Celestia, this could be a deliberate ploy to make Luna feel underappreciated by everyone...except the thieves guild which greets her with welcome and without fear and rancor. Combine that with the fact that Celestia has it in for the Thieves' guild...

How's that for sudden political clout?
Digo 10th Jan 2015, 4:55 PM edit delete reply
Now THAT sounds like a really awesome con :)

Story Time: Tell about a situation where a character who had died/retired would've been great at something or known something important, and the player struggled with keeping their new character ignorant.
Digo 10th Jan 2015, 9:57 AM edit delete reply
I remember in one game, a PC who died made their 'cousin' and had trouble remembering what the cousin knew (only got tidbits from the dead PC through mail).
you know that guy 10th Jan 2015, 4:52 PM edit delete reply
Ewwwwwww, you mailed them tidbits of their dead cousin?
Digo 10th Jan 2015, 4:56 PM edit delete reply
I was going to say no, I meant letters in the mail... but then I realized that I actually did mail bits of dead PC in a related campaign. ^^;

Delicious and nutritious, tastes just like kobold.
Sadly, I lack much in this area. Somehow, I haven't lost a character yet - not even the one whose stats I rolled so horribly that he had to be a Commoner: 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 10; normally it's common for me to have 2 18s... The other shoe has dropped, and yet the squirrelly little git just will not die.
Sensei Le Roof 12th Jan 2015, 8:56 AM edit delete reply
Whoever dropped that shoe must have lousy aim.

in 3.5 those are perfectly adequate stats for a warlock, especially if you dip binder 1 and go for the Hellfire warlock prestigue class.

Those last three panels sound like confirmation that Rarity is the one trying to hurt Luna's rep.

-Everyone around me, something bad happens to them.

-Me, next to nothing happens.

Story? While others physically suffer, I suffer from others' suffering.

Appearently comedy is best medicine... so, yeah.

Hopefully you get better soon.

The suffering of others, you say?

Go ahead, give it a peek. You know you want to.

I am... scared to say the least. I've learned through trial and error not to trust Raxon's links. Can someone I trust not to trick me as a joke click this for me so I know it's safe? Scratch that. There's nobody here who fits that description. Darn unreliable fellow commenters.

Depends. How high is your tolerance for fake blood, ridiculous situations, and work place safety training videos?

Probably not the best thing for me to have watched after spending the morning puking in the bathroom but hey, at least it's in German.
Digo 10th Jan 2015, 8:17 PM edit delete reply

I hope you're alright.

I'm fine. I've always had a weak stomach and my emotional state (anxiety/panicking/high stress) has always set it off for me, so I know how to deal with it. I did have a slight fever with it and I didn't get my energy and appetite back after all of that, so I went to the doctor for a blood test to figure out if I have anything life threatening or not.

See, I had a nasty case of nausea and dizziness (both fed into each other) that lasted for two months back at the end of 2013 and it started in a similar way to what I went through today (though I was working as a janitor at the time so the chemicals and lack of proper air ventilation might of made it worse than it should of been), so I figured I might as well be on the safe side. I am feeling much better though, so I'm more willing to believe that I just hit my limit on how much anxiety my body could handle than me having some kind of virus or anything like that.

Apparently, this just seems to be the week for everyone to get sick. Lets hope this isn't the start of the zombie apocalypses or anything silly like that. :D

Meh. Zombie apocalypse is fine in my book; I just sharpened my gear anyway when prepping my machete for yard work.
Storytime, eh? I'll try to pick one of the many times Ophilia avoided all negative effects of anything while the boys scrambled around full of shrapnel to type out come morning.

I'm sorry Mykin, I probably should have realized my posting of how I suffer from someone else' suffering would have had a negative affect...

Darn my weakness' for being over emotional, now I'm suffering more because I feel like I've contributed somehow to your sick day.

@ Disloyal Subject: Ya know, I remember feeling that I need to have that story in there when I was writing that post. But now that I'm looking at it, I can't, for the life of me, recall why I felt that way. I don't know, maybe I've been conditioned to explain away anything I feel might be an over-reaction to something minor or something. But it's not like it's going to hurt anyone if I left it up there so whatever.

@ Specter: Your post had nothing to do with me being sick. Get that out of your head right now! Yeesh, now I feel bad about posting...

...No, your not allowed to feel bad about that either! Liked the video, btw.

I also link to stuff that will make you cry if you watch for too long. Like the little panda fighter movie.

Glad to see I'm on the same train of thought as Rainbow Dash and Rarity, though Rarity does bring up an interesting thought, in the second to last panel, that I wish I had thought of earlier. Though, now it just makes my little game of 'who dun it?' a little bit harder. I keep wanting to say it was those pompous ponies Rarity showed up from the last session, but I can't find a satisfying reason they would hire someone from the Thieves Guild just to ruin Luna's reputation in some roundabout way to get back at the party that supported Rarity.

...This just keeps getting more and more interesting...

I still think the one heckling Luna is a certain gray unicorn stallion with a twister cutie mark.
