Applejack: I’d say a little regroup and rethink is in order.
Twilight Sparkle: I agree. Getting out of the spotlight for a while wouldn’t be terrible either.
Fluttershy: Well… it wasn’t ALL bad, right? The adults have stopped panicking, and that mean stallion will probably back off now…
Rainbow Dash: Speaking of, while I’m waiting for that guy to attempt a full refund... Are we still assuming it’s the Thieves Guild? If so, why the heck would they ruin Luna’s night and nothing else? Who’d send a secret agent just for that??
Princess Luna: Not a full agent… An initiate or journeymare at best…
Applejack: It’s one of the Princesses. Anythin’s fair game, and my gut says this might be a long con kinda deal.
Princess Luna: This isn’t necessarily a Guild mission… There could be an external client involved…
DM: Sounds like you’ve got some ideas, Luna.
Princess Luna: Oh! Oh, no. Don’t mind me. I’m just a… naïve warrior princess now. With… no insights into the workings of Equestria’s underground whatsoever.
DM: Of course you are.
As long as you're switching systems, characters, and campaigns fairly regularly, keeping out-of-character knowledge under control is rather easy. It's when you've been around the same game, the same people, and the same settings for too long that you start entering dangerous "this should not be IC knowledge" territory.
I mistakenly announced Thursday that my condition was going down. Instead, that very same morning, it rose up for what seems to be Round 3 plus overtime. This unpleasantness seems determined to continue through the weekend.
I'm doing my best to spend an hour here or there (when the meds are working properly) getting the latest Fallout is Dragons edited. I hope to get that out before the weekend's done, even if we don't have a session tomorrow.
You need to stop licking toads/eating pizza you find underneath the fridge/kissing boys or girls/shaking hands with goats or whatever it is you're doing and get well soon, dammit.
I hope you're seeking medical attention, Newbiespud. I know it can be... inconvenient, if I may so drastically understate it, but when something like this persists, it's best dealt with as firmly as possible. My lungs suffered more than they should have way back when.
It would appear that "Elusive" wants to make sure that the princess of the night remains feared by everypony or more likely "Elusive" is just playing a prank on her little sister... O_O oops... ummm I mean... ahhhh... oh look Ponies ^_^
Actually, assuming Elusive isn't Celestia, this could be a deliberate ploy to make Luna feel underappreciated by everyone...except the thieves guild which greets her with welcome and without fear and rancor. Combine that with the fact that Celestia has it in for the Thieves' guild...
Story Time: Tell about a situation where a character who had died/retired would've been great at something or known something important, and the player struggled with keeping their new character ignorant.
I remember in one game, a PC who died made their 'cousin' and had trouble remembering what the cousin knew (only got tidbits from the dead PC through mail).
Delicious and nutritious, tastes just like kobold.
Sadly, I lack much in this area. Somehow, I haven't lost a character yet - not even the one whose stats I rolled so horribly that he had to be a Commoner: 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 10; normally it's common for me to have 2 18s... The other shoe has dropped, and yet the squirrelly little git just will not die.
I am... scared to say the least. I've learned through trial and error not to trust Raxon's links. Can someone I trust not to trick me as a joke click this for me so I know it's safe? Scratch that. There's nobody here who fits that description. Darn unreliable fellow commenters.
I'm fine. I've always had a weak stomach and my emotional state (anxiety/panicking/high stress) has always set it off for me, so I know how to deal with it. I did have a slight fever with it and I didn't get my energy and appetite back after all of that, so I went to the doctor for a blood test to figure out if I have anything life threatening or not.
See, I had a nasty case of nausea and dizziness (both fed into each other) that lasted for two months back at the end of 2013 and it started in a similar way to what I went through today (though I was working as a janitor at the time so the chemicals and lack of proper air ventilation might of made it worse than it should of been), so I figured I might as well be on the safe side. I am feeling much better though, so I'm more willing to believe that I just hit my limit on how much anxiety my body could handle than me having some kind of virus or anything like that.
Apparently, this just seems to be the week for everyone to get sick. Lets hope this isn't the start of the zombie apocalypses or anything silly like that. :D
Meh. Zombie apocalypse is fine in my book; I just sharpened my gear anyway when prepping my machete for yard work.
Storytime, eh? I'll try to pick one of the many times Ophilia avoided all negative effects of anything while the boys scrambled around full of shrapnel to type out come morning.
@ Disloyal Subject: Ya know, I remember feeling that I need to have that story in there when I was writing that post. But now that I'm looking at it, I can't, for the life of me, recall why I felt that way. I don't know, maybe I've been conditioned to explain away anything I feel might be an over-reaction to something minor or something. But it's not like it's going to hurt anyone if I left it up there so whatever.
@ Specter: Your post had nothing to do with me being sick. Get that out of your head right now! Yeesh, now I feel bad about posting...
...No, your not allowed to feel bad about that either! Liked the video, btw.
Eh? I've always found Raxon's links wholesome. I was particularly amused that his choice of a rooster image was hosted on a chicken-owners' forum I dabble in on occasion.
Iron Will? You don't perchance mean Tempered Steel?
(Seconding the request for transcriptions; I enjoy the narrative, but seldom have time to listen to it, whereas reading I can do quickly.)
Thanks Specter and Raxon! Very much appreciated. I am now one step closer to intergalactic domination! *Que evil laugh* O.O
Did I just say that out loud?
Glad to see I'm on the same train of thought as Rainbow Dash and Rarity, though Rarity does bring up an interesting thought, in the second to last panel, that I wish I had thought of earlier. Though, now it just makes my little game of 'who dun it?' a little bit harder. I keep wanting to say it was those pompous ponies Rarity showed up from the last session, but I can't find a satisfying reason they would hire someone from the Thieves Guild just to ruin Luna's reputation in some roundabout way to get back at the party that supported Rarity.
...This just keeps getting more and more interesting...
