Author: Mykin

Guest Author's Note: Looks like Twilight's going solo on this one.

So this is a continuation of a comic I made back at page 561, which is based on a conversation I had with a friend about when one of his background npcs became ridiculously popular in our group. Didn't plan on continuing this, really. But writing about Twilight panicking is fun so here's more of that!

Notice: Guest comic submissions are open! Guidelines here. Deadline: January 27th, 2023.

"You don't hurt my friends!"
We hope we never hear Fluttershy dircet that at us.
What makes your in-game selves angry.
Data prize for smallest thing.
(Bonus for "saying" it)
"You never threatened a baby"

The prize is an android? :3

What makes my in-game self angry rather depends on which in-game self I'm playing. If it's Doc, he gets angry when he sees those with money and resources abuse their position to take advantage of poor folks.

The cost of the standard issue army pistols in our D20 modern/3.5 game. That Gorram Pistol! All of her companions have learned that even involuntary genetic experimentation, slavery, and running a shadow state pale in comparison to the criminal misuse of government funds in Lydia's mind.

She's a lawyer.

Android phone, or android robot?

Hm... I have a changeling named Stalker, and they absolutely hate anything to do with love, to the point so that they left their own hive in search for another life (and might have left a few things behind so the hive will remember to never follow). I find this somewhat ironic when the GM told me later that my character was living in the capital city of the New Crystal Empire, where they were picked up by the rest of the 'party'.
Digo 20th Aug 2015, 10:27 AM edit delete reply
I assume your changeling can subsist on alternate food sources than love?
Specter 20th Aug 2015, 11:31 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, hate. It really works for some odd reason (and the group has so much hate, that salt would sometimes materialize from osmoses).
Digo 20th Aug 2015, 12:01 PM edit delete reply
Wow. That's a lot of hate. O.o

Least you aren't going hungry. Or maybe their anger is making your character fat?
Specter 20th Aug 2015, 1:45 PM edit delete reply
No, thankfully I do have the ability to eat at my own discretion. Otherwise yes, I would be so big, that the sun and moon would start orbiting me, and get this feeling Celestia and Luna would have a few strong words about their powers revolving around a changeling.

Hee hee, that's kind of funny to think about. :3

My in-game self gets livid when someone takes his soda away. It's the only bottle he has left from his original world and he needs it to liiiiiive!

"I am wielding a bank vault door on a stick! Be impressed/intimidated/seduced/willing to buy me a beer, dammit!"

My in-character selves all share my trigger set because I have trouble expressing other people's anger. Therefore, we only get angry when somebody is being unreasonable.

I like the word balloon designs. Colorful and easy to read. Nice punchline too.

I like the look too. And I hope there are more of this "mini" series!

Thanks everyone. I didn't quite like the black borders in the last one, so I figured I'd change it to match the speaker. I think it worked out pretty well, if I do say so myself.

I made three more after this one, so hopefully they're just as good as this one. Don't worry, I made sure to give this one a proper ending this time around. :P

Quick, Twilight! Use this module I've made (which may or may not have anything or everything to do with this) for a rather longer campaign that probably has nothing to do with what your doing for the CMC, and alter it to however you see fit so that at some point Apple Bloom and Luna get separated from the rest of the pack (hopefully come up for a good reason for that and for both sides to not go look for each other almost immediately), and they get their special one-off mission together and that you can finally give your brain some peace and quite.

... Yes, I have done this before for another person who needed help in their campaign world. Yay for music.
Mykin 20th Aug 2015, 1:52 PM edit delete reply
I always listen to music while I'm making anything. It helps get me in the right mindset for whatever it is that I'm doing. Though there's the side effect that I end up getting distracted by said music, but that's besides the point.

So good call there, Specter.

Applejack has soccer practice? Hmmm... What age are these guys anyway?
Digo 21st Aug 2015, 3:57 AM edit delete reply
To be fair, even grown up professional sport players have practice sessions.
Raxon 20th Aug 2015, 10:00 PM edit delete reply
Alternative text for that last panel:

Twilight: "Yeah, that feels nice. You got a firm, perky chest, don't you?"

Applejack: "Ah need an adult!"

Ah, yes. That's how you filthy americans call football.

We call it soccer because that's what you brits originally called you. We learned it from watching you!
