Merry Holidays and Happy Christmas! We're back with Sonic Rainboom!

AND I finally updated the Cast page with those Level 9 character cards that took an entire arc to figure out tech for and agonize over! Including Gilda and Cheese Sandwich! Hooray!

Happy holidays to all, and to all a good weekend.

Also, Dash, good luck, you might need it.

On Twilight's new character sheet, there's a Typo on the power Symphony of the Dark Court. Specifically, the word 'the'.

The colors of the powers on the charsheets indicate that they're at-will, encounter etc, right? Which is which?

Green is used for At-Will powers, Red is used for Encounter powers, and Black is used for Daily powers.

I can't help seeing Green as bonuses and Red as maluses.

Happy Hearthswarming!

May your winter feast be an orgy of delight :)

...why does "Hearthswarming" put in mind, the picture of parasprites mobbing a hearth for warmth on a cold winter's eve?
Rastaba 24th Dec 2016, 10:50 PM edit delete reply
Rastaba
Because it's an adorable mental picture. What more reason do you need?
Blueblades 26th Dec 2016, 9:54 PM edit delete reply
I would guess because it's the pony equivalent of Christmas, hence the winter eve part. The first part is Hearth and that leaves you with swarming, a thing Parasprites are known for. There, case solved. ;3

Be safe this weekend when having fun!
I forgot how AJ got her ticket. I'll have to go back and reread that. :3

She got her's from working at the cherry orchard. Cherry Jubilee got some some her entire staff.

This is old news but I somehow missed this detail in Rarity's player description before...

...I take it Rarity's player was a big fan of Leverage when it was on? :)

Now my brain is trying to cast the Mane Six as the Leverage crew.

Anyway, Happy Hearthswarming!

Well, Leverage IS pretty good :P
It's understandable she'd enjoy it.

I love Leverage. Binged it on Netflix.

Happy Holidays to everyone! And just for reference for everyone else, the other tickets were confirmed in Fall Weather Friends - Twilight, The Last Round Up - Applejack, Hurricane Fluttershy - Do I even need to say it?, Pinkie Pride - Obviously Pinkie Pie.

However the fact is Rarity MAY NOT have a ticket. I reread that part thinking I didn't remember Rarity EARNING a ticket, and according to the page itself Fancy-Pants only said there was a HIGH CHANCE that Dainty Dove, Rarity's Alter Ego, might attend. No guarantee.

Meaning we only have four CONFIRMED tickets instead of the five alluded to. Mind you, be willing to bet, yes, Rarity's got her ticket, but it seems mighty suspicious to me.
Digo 24th Dec 2016, 2:49 PM edit delete reply
Rarity is a social rogue. She will figure out how to get in regardless of her ticket status. :3
Rngwrldngnr 24th Dec 2016, 11:44 PM Gala ticket motivation edit delete reply
If you're right, bring that in mod arc could provide a reason for Rarity to enter the competition.
Boris Carlot 26th Dec 2016, 12:09 AM edit delete reply
Rarity will be attending in her noble persona, not as Rarity. As she's impersonating someone who's believed to be high-born and not on the ticket committee's drek-list it's reasonable to assume she won't have a problem getting an invite.

Unless the DM is saving that as a twist when the group get complacent, of course. Probably unlikely, though; the gala is going to be her spotlight mission, giving her two back to back wouldn't be fair.

Precisely why my bet is that she does already have her ticket. It is still mildly suspicious for me when things go like 'high chance' are included. A high chance is not a guarantee, but again my bet is that she DOES have her ticket.

Great, cast page! Now someone is going to look at the character sheets and say that Cheese Sandwich wasn't a better bard then Pinkie Pie.
Lalli-is-Best 25th Dec 2016, 11:59 AM edit delete reply
Nobody is a better Bard than Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie is best bard.
Pinkie Pie is ultimate.

Sonic Rainboom! A.K.A "What happens when you roll a Nat 20 for something that you're already ridiculously good at"

Do you actually play DND for ponies? if so, looking for new recruits?
